Charlie has been working at Caldwell Animal Hospital since 2013. He became our Practice Manager in 2023. Charlie is an avid sports fan, especially Duke basketball and Braves baseball. He is married with two kids, and two dogs. In his free time, Charlie enjoys fishing, hiking, and camping.

Jordan Johnston
Jordan started out working for us in 2007 as a part-time kennel assistant. She left our office to pursue her dental hygiene career full time in 2015. She returned in 2018 and works full-time at our front desk as a receptionist. In her spare time she and her husband love to hunt and enjoy being outdoors. She has two dogs, Rocky and Puddin and raises Silkie and Australorp chickens.

Kim T. Chester
Kim has worked at our office since 2000. Kim is married and has one son. She has three dogs, four cats, a loving pet goat named Frost, and three horses. She enjoys barrel racing with her horses in various states in her spare time.
Kim's responsibilities include assisting the doctors with patients, doing follow-up patient care after surgery, and is our Pharmacy technician.

Gladis
Gladis began working for our hospital in 2007. She is the reason our hospital looks as good as it does! She is our custodian extraordinaire and also decorates our amazing Christmas tree every year. She is a native of Honduras and became a naturalized United States citizen in 2008. She is married, has four daughters and one son. She has three dogs, two cats and a guinea pig.
Meredith
Meredith was a long time client here at Caldwell Animal Hospital before being hired here in 2020. She has experience working in veterinary referral and emergency services. She has a B.S. from Appstate in Sustainable Agriculture and has been Fear Free Certified. Dogs are her passion, specifically anything that is black and tan like a Rottweiler. Sir Wadlow, her Rottie/Shepherd, prefers days when he gets to come to work with her!

Leslie has been working in the veterinary field since 2017 and has been a part of our team since May of 2019. She lives with her husband, Cole, on their farm in Taylorsville. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, hiking, and exploring outdoors.

Kacey
Kacey has been in the veterinary industry since 2018 and joined our CAH team in August 2021. She enjoys spending time with her fiance and her family. Kacey enjoys outdoor activities and frequently is outdoors with her 2 dogs and 2 horses. Her favorite breeds are quite obviously a Labrador Retriever and a Catahoula!

Brooklyn Jakab
Brooklyn started working with our reception team this past summer part-time and fell in love with our hospital. She now is full-time and is one of the first faces clients see when entering our doors. Brooklyn achieved her B.S. degree in Environmental Biology from UNC Greensboro. When not petting the patients at the hospital she is at home with pup Carlee and her two cats.

Haley Absher
Haley has been with us since the beginning of 2021 and fits perfectly with our reception team. Haley is great with our detailed and creative projects that need the right touch. Harley, her Maltese dog, is the apple of her eye and keeps her focused on pet health and education.

Kitana joined our team in 2022 and is working as a Technician Assistant. She moved into this career with only personal experience with animals. Kitana has been learning quickly and doing hands-on training. She has already made herself an irreplaceable team member!

Emma joined our team working as kennel staff and has been working hard since day one! She loves doing a detailed job on each bath and making boarding pets feel at home. Emma recently graduated from Caldwell Early College. When not here working, you can find Emma playing with her Aussie puppy June!

April joined our team in 2023. She has a long history of working as a Client Service Representative in the veterinary field. She has a passion for everything outdoors and music! When you don't see her at our front desk, it is likely she can be found hiking with her dog Gia.

Alex
Alex comes to us from Raeford, NC. She is currently attending ASU getting a BS degree and her veterinary license. Her two dogs, Kenai and Koda, frequently visit us here at work! She loves playing sports and cuddling her patients. We are so happy to have her on the team!
